John Forest Hilbert is a partner of Hilbert & Satterly LLP. He practices in the areas of real estate, business and general civil litigation, and title insurance. Mr. Hilbert’s experience includes representation of title insurance companies and their insureds in both litigation and coverage matters, and the representation of commercial landlords and real estate developers.

Mr. Satterly was a former partner at Andersen Hilbert & Parker LLP where his practice focused on business and real estate litigation. Before that, he was an associate with Kimball, Tirey & St. John LLP’s Business and Real Estate Group, where his practice focused on business, real estate and general civil litigation.
Mr. Satterly grew up outside Lexington, Kentucky, and currently resides in San Diego, California with his wife (also an attorney) and three young children. Mr. Satterly also enjoys coaching Little League Baseball and riding motorcycles on both street and dirt terrains.
Joseph A. LeVota is a partner with Hilbert & Satterly LLP. He practices in the areas of real estate litigation, insurance litigation, and business and civil litigation.
Prior to Hilbert & Satterly, Mr. LeVota was an associate at Andersen Hilbert & Parker where his practice focused on business and real estate litigation. Before that, he was with Feldman Feldman & Associates, where his practice focused on immigration law.
Kaila M. Bradley is an associate attorney with Hilbert & Satterly LLP. She practices in the areas of business, real estate and general civil litigation with an emphasis on title insurance and escrow law.
She is formerly a Volunteer Attorney with the Office of the Los Angeles City Attorney, Police Litigation Unit through the University of Southern California Gould School of Law Graduate Volunteer Grant. Prior to that, she mediated small claims and civil harassment cases in the Los Angeles County Superior Court with the USC Gould School of Law Mediation Clinic and clerked with the Office of the Los Angeles City Attorney, Housing Division.
When she is not practicing law, Ms. Bradley enjoys hiking, spending time with her niece and nephew, traveling, and live music.
Jeffrey N. Garland is Of Counsel at Hilbert & Satterly LLP and focuses his practice on business and real property litigation from inception through appeal. Mr. Garland’s experience spans over forty years of continuous litigation practice, representing a diverse set of clients in a wide range of legal matters. He has been designated as an expert witness and served as a special master in Superior Court litigation matters. Mr. Garland is AV rated by Martindale & Hubbell.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Garland practiced as Of Counsel at Andersen Hilbert & Parker, LLP and Kimball, Tirey & St. John, LLP, as a Partner with Styn & Garland and Marinos Styn & Studebaker, and with Richards Watson & Gershon in Los Angeles.
Mr. Garland, with his wife of over 40 years, lives in the Mission Beach community of San Diego where he served on the Executive Board of the Mission Beach Town Council. Their three sons have blessed them with seven grandchildren. After coaching Little League and competitive soccer for over 20 years and serving on league boards during most of that time, Mr. Garland now spends much of his free time traveling, playing golf and enjoying his expanding family.
